2018 National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C.

It may be cold and windy here this week, but this year’s National Cherry Blossom Festival is well underway with the blossoms having recently reached peak bloom!  Our little family ventured out last weekend to see the blooms first-hand.  Unfortunately, it was cold and very windy.  Untitled designIf you are headed out this weekend to see the blooms, I recommend taking advantage of the White House Garden Tour.  The grounds are open on April 14th and 15th beginning at 10:00 am.  Tickets are distributed by the National Parks Service starting at 8:30 am.  Tickets are free, but are given on a first come, first served basis.

Can’t make it out to see the blossoms this year?  Don’t worry!  Lil’ Man and I got you covered!  Check out our short video from the festival below.  Visit my post from 2017 for more information and tips on attending the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
